Sharon Osbourne has officially quit America’s Got Talent, claiming that NBC discriminated against her son Jack. Sharon alleges that the network dropped Jack from its new reality series Stars Earn Stripesin the wake of his multiple sclerosis diagnosis earlier this summer.

She told the New York Post, “I just can’t be fake. It’s discrimination, and it was badly handled.” According to Sharon, NBC execs terminated Jack via email, just two days before production was set to begin.

Stars Earn Strips chronicles celebrities, including Dean Cain and Nick Lachey, as they undergo military training exercises.

In quitting the show she has judged for seven years, Sharon is breaking her contract with NBC. However, she isn’t scared of the consequences. Sharon explained, “All they can do is stop me from being a judge on another network for five years.”
