Even though Kim Kardashian and Kanye Westhardly seem to be keeping their romance low-key, the reality star says that she’s been focusing on her privacy lately.

Kim — who is constantly and voluntarily trailed by cameras — explained her new outlook, telling People magazine, “I’ve kind of tried to adjust my life to have a little more private life. My life is very public and so I get that, but if you can choose to have a little bit of a private life I would choose that over other things now, where I probably wouldn’t have before.”

The 31-year-old summed up her current situation, saying, “Life is good. I’m super relaxed.”

A friend recently commented on her relationship with Kanye, saying, “Things are going really well with them. They’re both incredibly happy and so good for each other.”
